The BULLS Evo 3 FS RS 27.5+ is a great all-rounder. The high-torque BROSE motor is capable of taking you to the top of almost anything. Long-travel RockShox suspension will keep you in one piece on the way up and 180mm Shimano Deore hydraulic disc bakes provide ample stopping power if your nerve cracks on the way back down!  Top quality 22 speed Shimano XT gears are evidence of BULLS intentions for this machine. As with all BROSE powered e-bikes when switched off or at speeds over 27.5kmh the 90 Nm BROSE e-bike drive system is disengaged completely so does not cause any pedaling resistance.

The beating heart of this BULLS is the peerless BROSE 2.0 Drive Unit. For 2017 the Brose has new software giving more low-speed torque and smoother power delivery across all speed ranges. Its main ingredients are aluminum, magnesium, experience, enthusiasm and …helical epicyclic gears! Designed in Germany, its made there too.

Where other well known e-bike motors are built to a price point, the Brose 2.0 is designed and manufactured to a quality standard, incorporating precision engineered helical epicyclic gears. These are much more expensive to manufacture but offer dramatic performance and wear rate improvements over the cheaper spur gear tooth profiles that the completion use.

In the simplest terms spur gears transfer power from the driving gear to the driven gear via only one or two teeth at a time, whereas with helical gears power is transferred by three connecting teeth at a time. This results in less wear, less noise, less friction and a smaller and lighter drive unit.

Despite its small physical size the BROSE 2.0 produces a market leading 90 newton meters of torque. It does this quietly, reliably and without fuss. The company’s sensor concept is the only one of its kind on the market today: it measures rider pedal force no fewer than 420 times a second, delivering smooth, vibration free assistance. Production began in July 2014 and by August this year the Rotwild/Brose test team had covered 69’445 miles of Brose e-bike motor shaftarduous Alpine trails.

Decades of experience specialising in mechatronic systems for the automotive sector mean they’re perfectly placed to produce this innovative e-bike drive unit. Development and production of the Brose e-bike motor is carried out entirely in-house at their Berlin engine plant, where a dedicated team of engineers design, build and test the system at their purpose built e-bike center of excellence .

One of our team will deliver your e-bike to your door fully assembled and tested at a pre-arranged time, and will work with you to ensure every thing is perfectly adjusted to suit your size and preferred riding style before that all-important test ride.

After your test ride, when everything has been fine-tuned to your liking and you are comfortable with your e-bike we will fit any accessories you may have ordered – or those you might already have – a favourite old saddle perhaps, a particular bell, or pair of trusted hand-me-down panniers.

Only when we are certain you are completely confident in your e-bike choice and understand how everything works will we leave you to enjoy your new found freedom.

Evening and weekend delivery:

Because few of us are at home during working hours these days, we offer the option of our personal home delivery service on Saturdays and Sundays, and evenings during the week.

Experience has taught us that regular preventative maintenance is much better than simply reacting to problems as and when they occur. By choosing our on-site service option you’ll have the peace of mind that potential problems are likely to be identified and dealt with before they arise, thereby helping ensure your e-bike is safe and in good working order.

In the unlikely event that an unexpected problem arises – for example a puncture or broken front light – simply call or email us to bring forward a scheduled service and we will visit and carry out repairs.

    Excellent bike
    This is my first time to ride eMTB, this is for my wife. She can handle this bike on climbing very steep slope and ride with me for leisure (but I really ride hard)
    This bike provide incredible stability due to the a good fork and suspension configuration. Brose power is really really powerful and smooth. It is also very silent in working, you even can’t recognize it is working.
    The regular double chain ring crank set is useful for climbing ridiculous steep slope. I just don’t like the Bosch design and you may need extra pulley to maintain chain stability.
    One of the unexpected result is , eMTB drive me to ride more and climb more slope. It push me to pedal continuously hence to drive the motor assistance. I am not always using the most powerful mode to climb and resultant that I do more workout and lose my fat lot in the first week already. My cardio and muscle endurance improved but my leg muscle a bit less powerful.

    The most disadvantage is the weight, I didn’t measure and you can’t find the value on web, but it really really heavy. But I used to ride ebike in Japan which is made of steel, it is over 70lbs and this Bull bike is still handleable. To be fair 650mAh battery is definitely bigger than Yamaha and Bosch but this will be necessary if you want to explore more trial without any worry.

    It just used up 2/5 battery for a continuous uphill of a 1000M height mountain and still have more than 1/5 battery after 2 episode of siMilar ride.

    This is my first eMTB , and the riding experience is super impressive.
    I choose this bike becoz I do ride enduro and slight AM style and my skill is fair and wanna to have an more nimble suspension to do some drop. And the main point is, my wife can ride uphill with me too.
    1.Very power, sometimes too powerful and I rather choose 2/4 assist mode
    2.Very silent motor, I don’t recognize the motor sound at the beginning until climbing an extremely steep slope… But still minimal noise
    3.Very smooth riding feel
    4.The 27.5+ tyre is extremely stable on down the slope, like motor bike
    5.The easier riding feel encourage me to ride more and ride longer, end up I do more exercise. Actually I won’t turn to full power 4/4, I usually use 1/4 even on up slope. U can ride very steep slope by eco mode with a more realistic riding feel. The benefit is , it help u to keep pedalling with a moderate high exercise intensity. If no motor , the heaviness will stop u. For a pro rider, u will hate full power assist unless u need to ride some ridiculous steep slope, u definitely will turn to eco after overcome it.

    1. Very heavy bike, too heavy for lifting the bike to car bike rack. I lift another Scott E-spark and at least 7lbs lighter, because battery is much smaller (only 400mAh).
    2. The ride height is tall, even small size the minimum seat height is almost exceeding my wife acceptance
    3. This bike is not easy to lean in cornering compared with my Giant Trance, may due to tyre size and geometry
    4. The walking mode is difficult to elicit, it require to continuously press the side switch on the panel for more than few second, but u will hardly maintain to press the switch when u walking the bike on rough surface.
